Hungarian Scientologists Celebrate 10 Years in Budapest

Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to mark the tenth anniversary of the Budapest Ideal Organization on Váci Road.

Opened in 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary included a religious service, live music, a photographic and video retrospective and plans for the next decade.

During the past decade, the Budapest church has also hosted community programmes ranging from drug prevention and human-rights education to humanitarian news european elections and interfaith initiatives. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
